1. Face Ready

  • • Groomed the way you want your final headshot to look
  • • If you wear glasses professionally → wear them in ALL photos
  • • If you don't → don't wear them in ANY
  • • Natural makeup only (no heavy glam)
  • • Hair styled as you normally present to clients

2. Lighting

  • • Stand facing a window (natural daylight is best)
  • • Light should hit your face directly
  • • NO overhead shadows
  • • NO dark rooms
  • • NO backlighting

3. Background

  • • Plain wall preferred
  • • No clutter
  • • No other people
  • • No hats
